A
- Mainly excreted by kidney so kidney impairment can cause toxicity and accumulation
- Nephro and oto toxic

Clinical uses of aminoglycosides
A
Often giving with beta lactams
- Gram negative sepsis incl psuedomonas
- Pyelonephritis
- Bacterial endocarditis
