- high altitude training has to be over 2000m above sea level
- only good for aerobic athletes
- elite athletes use high altitude training

A
Carry oxygen to the working muscles in haemoglobin

How long does EPO last for after altitude training?
A
Only lass for 15 days when you go back to sea level

What are the disadvantages of high altitude training?
A
- takes 11 days for every 1000m to adapt to altitude
- cannot train as hard as it could make you sick, dizzy, easily tired
- if you don’t keep trading reversibility could start
- no benefit to anaerobic athletes
