Q

CCS Startup sequence

A

Left CCR starts first, when battery switch pressed. It takes 2-3 minutes to come online. Left CCR is online when captain’s inboard and lower display show default pages.

Right CCR does not begin startup until left CCR sequence is complete, and a power source other than the battery is available (either FWD external power switch shows AVAIL). Both CCRs are online when all displays and the HUD combiners show default displays.

All displays windows on MCP blink for 2 seconds, then off for 1 second and repeat until released.

24
Q

Passenger oxygen system type:

A

Gaseous oxygen stored in small high pressure cylinders, providing pulses of oxygen, shorter at low altitude, longer pulses at high altitude.

Oxygen available for approx. 60 minutes.

25
Q

When do the pax O2 masks drop?

A

At the greater of:

14,500 ft altitude

Origin airfield +1500 ft

Destination airfield +1500 ft

Pressing the PASS OXYGEN switch on overhead panel

26
Q
