TPFDD
Timed Phased Force Deployment Data
A method to plan out and execute LARGE SCALE DEPLOYMENTS
The computer-supported database portion of an operation plan;
it contains time-phased force data, non-unit-related cargo and personnel data, and movement data for the operation plan.
PROS:
- MACOM does all planning and coordination w host nations AMC manager
- Once submitted, TRANSCOM responsible for all movement
CONS:
- No flexibility
- price non negotiable
- NOT feasible for small units
- MIN 100 PAX, 25 short tons
- Lower priority for urgent missions
SAAM
Special Airlift Assignment Missions
SAAM is defined as airlift requirements for special pickup or delivery by
AF Air Mobility Command at points other than established routes, and which require SPECIAL CONSIDERATION because of the number of passengers involved, the weight or size of the cargo, the urgency or sensitivity of movement, or other special factors.
PROS:
- Accommodates movement of small forces - ODAs
- Route flexibility
- Price discounts (10% 30 days out)
- Continuity pilots know AOR
- Ability to change cargo requirements w/o notice
CONS
- User does all planning and coordination with host nations amc manager
- Changes made within 30 days, user loses 10% discount
JCET
Title 10 ($50k)
SOF can receive up to $25k for OPTEMPO

- Activity: Train (no ADV, no Equip)
- Incremental expenses may be auth: fuel, training ammo, rations
- Train with MOD / MOI
- LEAHY vetting required
- No acquisitions
- No MILCON
- Approval - GFMAP
-Benifit: UW/FID/Language/Teaching skills
CONS: cannot use funds for construction or equipment to support SOF POI
