[Agile & Scrum] How do you work within the scrum ceremonies Flashcards
As a Product Owner, I actively participate in Scrum ceremonies to ensure the team is aligned with the product vision and focused on delivering value. For example, during Sprint Planning, I present the sprint goal, such as “Improve the login experience,” and prioritize backlog items like adding a “Forgot Password” feature. I work with the team to break these into smaller tasks, clarify requirements (e.g., “What happens if the user enters an incorrect email?”), and make sure everyone understands the goal.

I do attend the Daily Scrum to answers and address blockers, such as clarifying a user story or resolving a dependency with another team. For instance, if there’s a question about how password recovery emails should look, or what’s the specific export format, PDF or excel, if PDF, we want it vertically or horizontally, I can quickly provide input so the team stays on track.
In the Sprint Review, I facilitate a demo of completed work, such as showing the new “Forgot Password” feature to stakeholders. I gather feedback, like if the email wording should be more user-friendly, and incorporate it into the backlog for future improvement. During the Sprint Retrospective, I help identify ways we can improve processes. For example, if delays occurred due to unclear requirements, I might commit to providing more detailed acceptance criteria for the next sprint.
