A

-Fractures: a break/crack in the bone
-Dislocation: when bones at a joint are out of position
-Strains: when muscle fibres are stretched too far-tear
-Sprains: when ligaments are stretched too far/tear

Name and explain some examples of chronic injuries

A

-Tendonitis: an overuse injury that causes pain and inflammation of the tendon
-Stress Fracture: overuse injury where the affected bones becomes tender and swollen
-Tennis Elbow: causes the muscles and tendons that are attached to the elbow to become inflamed
