What is the MoA of ACEi?

A

These drugs inhibit the Angiotensin Convertig enzyme (ACE).
This decreases vasoconstriction, aldosterone production, and sodium/water retention.

Also leads to vasodilation by decreasing the breakdown of bradykinin and other vasoactive peptides.

Fosinopril and Spirapril are both cleared equally by the liver and kidney.
