reduces vasoconstriction and aldosterone release

hypertension (first line in <55 y/o)
heart failure due to left ventricular dysfunction

adverse effects ?
A
dry cough (bradykinin build up) first doe hypotension hyperkalaemia

prescribing advice?
A
pro-drug ( converted to -prilat)
NOT with renovascular disease
NOT with pregnancy
NOT with NSAIDS
