A
• When solving a system of two equations in three unknowns, there are three possibilities:
1. A line of intersection; i.e., solutions lie on the line.
2. A plane of intersection; i.e., equations describe the same plane.
3. No solutions; i.e., parallel planes.
• You can solve a system of two equations in three unknowns by finding a relationship between two of the variables in terms of the third.
