Mr. Romero, you have certain constitutional rights as a defendant in this matter. You have the right to bail. You also have the right to see, hear, question, and cross-examine the witnesses who testify against you at trial. You also have the right to call witnesses to testify on your own behalf and to have them subpoenaed to compel them to appear in court, at no cost to you.
Sr. Romero, usted tiene ciertas garantías constitucionales como acusado en esta causa. Tiene el derecho a que se le fije el monto de la caución. También tiene el derecho a ver, oír, interrogar y contra-interrogar a los testigos que declaren en su contra durante el juicio. Furthermore, you have the right to the assistance of counsel at every stage of the proceedings. If you cannot afford to hire an attorney to represent you in this matter, you have the right to have an attorney appointed by this court at no cost to you. You also have the right to remain silent. However, any statements you make could be used against you in a court of law. Finally, you have the right to testify at your own trial.
