Question 1

Non-revenue Flights Without Cabin Crew

Answer 1

• There is a checklist in OMA 8.7.4.3
• PIC responsible of security check of cabin, galley and toilets (may delegated to F/O),
• Both FWD doors shall be armed,
• Max 19 non-revenue passengers may be carried (each approved by Chief Pilot or Security Manager),
• Pilots trained in First Aid (where Pax present),
• Except Critical phases, cockpit door is open,
• PM checks cabin: before departure & landing and every 30 minutes during cruise,
• Make Passenger Briefing (EFB): Point exits, use of emergency exits, oxygen use, life jackets use,
• If all qualified personnel present, briefing not required
• Passenger will be seated to FWD

Question 2

Relocation Flights

Answer 2

• Pilots may be over 65 and from other RYR sunsidiaries (non DAC),
• Ferry Flight: For maintenance for example unpressurized, gear down etc,
• Delivery Flight: Aircraft acceptance flight,
• Positioning Flight: Regular empty,
• Recovery Flight: From hazardous area to safe location,
• Ferry and Recovery flights require briefing by Duty Pilot

Delivery Flight Restrictions

• Maximum diversion time 90 minutes, OEI in still air and actual T/O weight (624NM for 8200),
• To use maximum time: No deferred critical system and no DG
