5. Qualification Requirements

Question 1

CAT C Airport Training

Answer 1

• Fly as an observer and/or,
• Instruction in a FSTD or,
• As a PIC, fly with C CAT qualified commander

RYR Restricted CAT B Airports

• Narrow RWY,
• LDA < 1800m,
• Circling requirement,
• Other considerations

Line Check Results

Answer 3

• PASS: Validity end of current month + 1 year,
• Restricted PASS: Validity end of current month + 3 months,
• FAIL: Crews taken off line for additional training,
• Need another Line Check after the initial one for fresh joiners

Line Check Fail Items

• Not properly dealt safety issue or,
• Undesired aircraft state,
• Less than 5 SOP problems means PASS,
• More than 5 SOP problems means Restricted PASS

Recent Experience

Answer 5

• 3 T/O and LDG as PF in the previous 90 days,
• If not flown for 45 days, one line flight or sim required with Instructor

Question 6

Minimum CCM Experience

• 3 months or 125h,
• Minimum 2 experienced CCM must be present
