What patients should be identified on the AF Form 1488, Daily Log of Patients Treated for Injuries?
All beneficiaries who seek care at an MTF for an injury, or in some cases a disease.

What is the objective of the MCRP?
They review the log and determine if the Air Force legal office can pursue a claim for Air Force members. If a member from another service has a potential claim, forward the information to the parent service (e.g., Army, Navy). The legal office and MCRP, for each service, works those claims depending on the service affiliation with the patient.
