A

WBS is the means to do decomposition, i.e. the tool.

In what way differ control quality and validate scope?

A

In control quality the quality department checks to see if the requirements for the deliverable are met, in validate scope the customer checks and accepts the deliverable.

Validate scope can be done during closing a phase/the project and as part of monitor and control.
