Emergency Stabilization

CPR

ECG/Pads immediately

Defib if necessary.

Attach Capno

Epinephrine up to 4 times every 3-5 minutes

Amiodarone for V-Fib/Tach may repeat once w/ repeat dose

H’s&T’s

Bicarb for suspected acidosis, hyperK, or TCA OD may repeat once

Make base for destination

NS bolus for shock after ROSC

Amiodarone for Peds

Atropine for cardiac arrest

Calcium for suspected hypocalcemia, hyperK, hypermag, CCB OD

Lidocaine for V-Fib/Tach when amio is not available

Magnesium for V-Fib/Tach associated with Torsades

Midazolam for anxiety following ROSC

Morphine/Fentanyl for pain associated with ROSC

Bicarb for Peds
