How long must mobile videos be maintained for?
90 days from last recorded incident
How long must evidentiary videos be maintained for?
90 days or until no longer have evidentiary value
What must each division maintain that utilizes EADs with regards to logs?
Hard Copy log or secure database
What will the first page of a hard copy log of ESDs have?
List of each Mobile Video ESD and Evidentiary ESD issued
What will the second page of a hard copy log of ESDs have?
HPD inventory control #s to the mobile video equipment
ESDs must be checked in and out each shift unless:
A vehicle is permanently assigned to one officer

Equipment room personnel
What will officers make sure of when recording a class B or higher incident on an ESD?
List specific control number in report, document the video will be held for 120 days
What will happen if there no requests for a held video during the 120 day retention period?
It will be erased
Who will make sure the video log is being kept current for ESDs?
Supervisors
When will video logs of ESDs be audited?
Every month by direction of commander
When will an assigned supervisor conduct a random review of ESD video?
every 60 days
What amount of ESDs will Traffic Mobility Incident Management review?
1%
