Individualized training sessions once every 3 months

Completes federal paperwork, registers with training division, keeps copy of paperwork and stamp in his possession at all times
What is the approved ammo for AR-15s?
.223 caliber 55 grain soft point
What are the requirements for electronic optical sights on an AR-15?
No magnification and quick release return to zero mount
What are the scenarios officers may deploy a carbine?
Suspect has rifle/shotgun or assault rifle, suspect has body armor, suspects employs measures that place officer at tactical disadvantage or Special Threat
What type of Ammo is prohibited except as allowed by COP?
AP, Tracer, Glaser Safety Slug, Rat Shot, Frangible
What are the requirements for grips for weapons?
Black or brown made of wood, plastic, metal or rubber, no extra logos
How long to officers have to return an old holster when replacing it?
2 days
After receiving a new holster how long does an officer have to qualify before returning the new holster?

Anyone who was a cadet before class 170 and continuously registered it before Sep 1, 1997.

What may an officer do if an approved weapon registered before Sep 1, 1997 is lost or stolen or non-repairable?
Replace with identical weapon, if none available must replace with Attachment A primary weapon
How shall plainclothes officers carry their firearm?
Not exposed to public view
What are the exceptions for plain clothes officers carrying their firearms in open view?
During tac operations, raids, warrants, on police property
What shall armed officers who want to enter the sterile side of the airport do?
Notify proper authorities, provide credentials and comply with their decisions
