List Of Effective Pages (LOEP)
- provides a listing of the maintenance index pages (MIPs) and system equipment not requiring PMS assigned to each work center
Maintenance index pages (MIPs)
- identifies the system, subsystem or component involved and provides a brief description of the maintenance requirement.
- lists the necessary reference publications and shows the date the MIP was prepared
Maintenance Requirement Card (MRC)
- Provided detailed guidance for accomplishing each maintenance requirement
- explains how to perform the task in terms that everyone should be able to understand
- lists the tools required to do the job
- classified MRCs are printed on pink stock
Equipment guide list (EGL)
- used when several identical components exist under the same MRC
- identifies the location of the component that is to be maintained
- provides a serial number when applicable
Feedback Report
- used by shipboard personnel to notify Fleet Technical Support Centers or the type commanders on matters related to PMS
Types of feedback reports (FBRs)
- Category A
- Category B
- Urgent
Category A FBR is used for:
- non- technical in nature and is intended to meet PMS needs that do not require technical review
Category B FBR
- Technical in nature preventing PMS performance
- requires TYCOM assistance
Urgent Category FBR
- Involves safety of personnel
- safety of ship
- potential damage to equipment and relates to the technical requirements of PMS

- Detailed summary listing of Deferred maintenance information.
- management tool for guiding the accomplishment of repairs in the work center
- used for workload planning and coordination of deferred maintenance by Intermediate Maintenance Activities (IMAs)
Equipment Status Log (ESL)
- used to verify the status of all equipment used within the 3M system
Coordinated shipboard allowance list (COSAL)
- Equipment installed on ship to complete its operational mission
- Repair parts and special tools required for overhaul or repair
- Items and consumables necessary for the safety, care, and upkeep of the ship
