What are the advantages and disadvantages of a top down project?
Advantages: the improvements benefit the whole city. Higher cost NGO’s cant afford large projects
Disadvantages: Expensive - had to borrow $1 billion from world bank for railway lines. Often doesnt help the lower class.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of a bottom up project?
Advantages: Planned with local community to help them most. Low cost as its funded by people in other countries
Disadvantages: Smaller scale so affects less people. Lack in coordination with other communities
