Full duplex is sending and receiving data at the same time. All modern NIC’s run in full duplex. Half duplex means that the device can send and receive, but not at the same time.

If this option is unchecked and you print 10 copies, each page will be printed ten times before the printer moves on. If the option is checked, the printer will print the full document before starting over.
