304.1 State the location and function of the buildings which comprise NCTAMS LANT:

- Changes frequently. But generally: NCTAMS LANT ID badge, military ID and a valid state driver’s license.
304.6 How many UST’s are there at NCTAMS LANT:
- 3 Underground Storage Tanks. 1 and 2 are 4000gal and 4 is 12000gal.
304.7 What are the locations of the UST’S:
- N4 compound adjacent to Gen Room 3.
304.8 Explain the fuel delivery procedure. Include who, when, and how:
- Note 1: Fuel delivery after normal working hours and during foul weather is prohibited.
- Note 2: Two Personnel are required during fuel delivery. The POIC will be located in Gen. Rm. # 3 at the Manifold and Tank Monitor. The second person will be located outside at the UST. Use Truck Delivery Fuel Transfer checklist.
- Note 3: All personnel involved with Fuel delivery must be NCTAMS LANT EOOW qualified (except delivery driver).
- Note 4: Once started, the fuel delivery will not be stopped until transfer is complete, except in the event of an emergency.
- Warning: At no time will the fuel stations be left unattended during fuel transfer. If for any reason you must leave, i.e. fire alarm or bomb threat, the fuel transfer will be secured.
1. Using the “Fuel Transfer Checklist”, attain permission from N4 Department Head prior to starting delivery transfer.
2. Stick UST #3 and record readings, in both inches and gallons in the EOOW log and Truck Delivery Fuel Transfer checklist.
3. Verify with the delivery driver the amount of fuel to be transferred.
4. At the half way mark of your calculated delivery, stick UST #3 and record readings in the EOOW log.
5. Once delivery is complete stick UST #3 and record readings in the EOOW log and Truck Delivery Fuel Transfer Checklist.
6. Secure from fuel transfer and place the Fuel Manifold for Gen. Rm. #3 in normal configuration IAW SOP D-10.
7. Inform Dept. Head of completion.
