  • Resistance:

  • Biological properties:
    • Baltimore III. – viral transcriptase
    • Orbi, Rota: in vitro difficult to cultivate
    • Orthoreo: cytoplasmic inclusion bodies, rounding
  • Antigenic properties:
    • Good antigens
    • Cross reactions +/-
  • Diagnosis:
    • Isolation
    • Experimental animals (Orbivirus genus)
    • IF, ccIEF, IEM (Rotavirus genus)
