What is the cognitive miser? What are some examples?
People tend to consider very little information when they need to take decisions; they AVOID THINKING
Bat and Ball problem, Jack, Anne and George Problem, Nutella commercial, etc.
What are heuristics?
Even when people do think to solve problems, they try to do so as little as possible
A heuristic is a guiding principle or “rule of thumb” used in solving problems or making decisions
What is the availability heuristic? What is an example?
mental shortcut that relies on immediate examples that come to a given person’s mind when evaluating a specific topic, concept, method or decision.

What is confirmation bias? Give an example.
the tendency to search for, interpret, favor, and recall information that confirms or support one’s prior personal beliefs or values. It is a type of cognitive bias.
