Vertical Angles
Two angles are vertical angles if their sides form two pairs of opposite rays
Linear Pair
Adjacent Angles form a linear pair if their noncommon sides are opposite rays
Complementary Angles
Two angles are complementary angles if the sum of their measures is 90 degrees
Supplementary Angles
Two angles are supplementary angles if the sum of their measures is 180 degrees
Linear Pair Postulate
If two angles are a linear pair, then they are supplementary (i.e. the sum of their measures is 180 degrees)
Congruent Supplements Theorem
If two angles are supplementary to the same angle, or to congruent angles, then they are congruent
Congruent Complements Theorem
If two angles are complementary to the same angle, or to congruent angles, then they are congruent
Vertical Angles Theorem
If two angles are vertical angles then they are congruent
