其既去也，心事既毕，魂一散而魄滞。
since he wanted to leave and his worries were resolved, his spiritual soul fell apart and his corporeal soul remained
魂在则其人也，魂去则非其人也
the spiritual soul is the personality and when the spiritual soul is gone, there is also no more personality
世之移尸走影，皆魄为之，惟有道之人为能制魄
the walking dead and shadows are all corporeal souls. there are only a few people with the dao who can control their corporeal souls
