A digital stylus is an advanced writing tool, which communicates directly to the device with pressure sensitivity and programmable buttons.

Are stylus compatible with all tablets?

No, it needs to be for the particular tablet and device. Such as Apple iPAd uses Apple Pencil.

What is a Drawing pad?
A
A precise input with an active stylus using an external digitizer.
Whereas the stylus is for writing, the drawing pad is more for drawing with its external digitizer.

Difference between drawing pad and active stylus?
A
The active stylus can be used on a drawing pad to draw, and the active stylus can be used on a tablet screen directly.
