Operation

A

voltage applied to primer, which ignites propellant and tracer.
Silicon seal prevents gas escape and provides obturation
Upon leaving barrel aerodynamic forces cause sabot and obturator to separate from sub projectile.
Acceleration in barrel allows projectile to release first rotor from safe position.
deceleration forces once out of the bore allow rotor into armed position aligning the explosive train\
setback forces provide the voltage which stores its charge within capacitors.
when fuze senses target, sens a signal to M69 detonator to function.
