Treatment

A

Anticholinergic drugs
- Control neuroleptic-induced EPS
- Benztropine, diphenhydramine, trihexyphenidyl
Dopamine agonist: Pramipexole
Akathisia: Beta blockers or benzodiazepines
Reduce dose of antipsychotic or switch to an atypical antipsychotic
- Ziprasidone, olanzapine, risperidone, or clozapine
