MASINT
Measurement and Signature Intelligence- technically derived intelligence that deters, tracks, identifies, or describes the signatures of fixed or dynamic target sources
SIGINT
Signals Intelligence- interception of signals, whether between people, electronic signals not directly used in communication, or combinations of the two
COMINT
Communications Intelligence- sub-category of SIGINT that involves messages or voice information derived from the interception of foreign communications
FISINT
Foreign Instrumentation Signals Intelligence- derived from electromagnetic emissions associated with the testing and operational deployment of foreign aerospace, surface, and subsurface systems
ELINT
Electronic Intelligence- technical and geo-location intelligence derived from foreign non-communications electromagnetic radiations emanating from other than nuclear detonations or radioactive sources
IMINT
Imagery Intelligence- the technical, geographic, and intelligence information derived through the inception or analysis of imagery and collateral materials
ACINT
Acoustic Intelligence- intelligence derived from the collection and processing of acoustic phenomena
