11-02 Light Force Response Flashcards
11-02 Light Force Response
all fire stations housing Truck Companies will have the option to respond to EMS incidents with either the Light Force (Truck and 200 series Engine), the Truck only or the 200 series Engine Company only. The only exceptions would be responses to traffic accident dispatches, which require both apparatus.
This option requires the Truck or 200 series Engine be staffed by the Task Force Commander, Engineer or Apparatus Operator, and two Firefighters (four total).

11-02 Light Force Response
A new modification to the MFC CAD/MDC system allows for either the Truck or 200 series Engine’s MDC to be used to update the light force’s status. Depressing en-route on the 200 series Engine’s MDC will notify MFC that the light force is responding.
