- How can progress be recorded on a project?
Gant charts for visual representation of tasks, progress reporting and milestone tracking.
- What might be the difference between the duties of a contract administrator and a clerk of works?
COW only looks at works progress and quality, the CA looks and administers the whole project.
- Why is it important to record progress?
To keep all parties informed, and to mitigate delays.
- How regularly might site visits be undertaken and why?
I undertake regular site visits fortnightly, however if there are any issues I visit as and when.
- What is the difference between the duties of a contract administrator and someone appointed solely to report on progress and quality?
That would be the CoW- the CA issues instructions/ variations, Notices and certificates.

This was the entrance barriers which were to be completed towards the end of the project.

It was a 10 week project and I visited fortnightly.

I took photos when on site and conducted regular progress meetings, took minutes as well.
