A

I always insured to review the contract documents to ensure that I’m in line with the contract schedules and drawings

18
Q

At 2 to 3 manor joinery explain what you mean when you state that additional block work was required due to aesthetic appearance

A

The poor repair was carried out using Work and it should have been done in brickwork required for replacement

19
Q

At 2 to 3 Man joinery why was the variation picked up as an addition or variation to the contract?

A

This was due to limitations on site during the design and specification stage

20
Q

At 12 Crossways, why did you advise the client liquidated damages should be set at a specific value

A

On this occasion, I advised the client how the liquidated damages should be calculated, which is a pre-estimate of the landlord loss. On this occasion, the landlords loss was the loss of rent.

21
Q

Liquidated damages be documented clearly

A

Liquidated damages should be demonstrated clearly and timeframe should be given. This allows the contract to factor in the risk when tendering.

22
Q

At 12 crossways while you advising there should be additional information added to the contract

A

I apologise and this statement was poorly worded, I meant to say that I informed the client that the liquidated damages amount is required in the contract and how it should be calculated. On this occasion, I advised that it should be the landlords rent
