At level of process

Social forces

Social interaction

Role of other people
other people influence our ID by:reading others responses to us, understanding the ID they have ascribed to us, learning what others expect of us, imagining what people think of us.
Identity and consumer culture

Dramaturgical model
Erving Goffman- invisible rules and rituals that shape our behaviour, inevitable aspect of social life, scripted drama in which we play roles
