an individual is religiously compelled to follow a secular vocation with as much zeal as possible

provides religious sanction that fosters a disciplined spirit- which encourages people to work hard to acquire wealth
Secularisation thesis
that social scientists believe religion and the supernatural will end in the next few decades
New religious movements
appears as religious, ethical or spiritual group- not yet recognised in mainstream
Fundamentalism
religious movement or POV characterised by a return to what is defined as the fundamental principles of the religion by rigid adherence and often strong opposition to secularism
