Iliolumbar vein (blue), it drains psoas maj. into IVC (inferior vena cava
Structure: Lateral Sacral artery, comes off internal iliac artery, supplies sacral canal
lateral sacral vein, drains sacral canal into internal iliac veins
Structure: Common iliac artery:
- comes off the abdominal aorta, supplies pelvis, lower limbs, and abdominal wall
common iliac vein: drains into IVC
Structure: External iliac artery: comes off the CIV, supplies abdominal wall, external genitalia, and lower limb
External iliac vein: receives blood from deep circumflex iliac veins, drains into CIV
Structure: Internal iliac artery, supplies entire pelvis
internal iliac vein, drains into CIV
Structure: Femoral artery: supplies lower adominal wall, ext. genitalia, and lower limb
Femoral vein: drains into ext. iliac vein
Structure: profunda femoris artery, largest branch of femoral artery, it’s close to the inguinal ligament, supplies majority of thigh mm. and femur
profunda femoris vein: drains post. thigh and hip into femoral vein
Structure: obturator artery, comes off internal iliac artery, supplies, pelvis muscles, bladder, hip bone, medial thigh
Structure: obturator vein, drains pelvic mm. and hip joint into internal iliac vein
Great Saphenous V. drains skin of the lower limb into the femoral vein
Internal pudendal artery: supplies ext. genitalia, perineum and anal canal
Internal pudendal vein: drains into ant. trunks of internal iliac arteries
