Q

What instructions should the assisting driver be given when assisting from the front?

A
  • Make a wrong direction move
  • Proceed at caution, and check the position of points before going over them
  • Meet the driver of the failed train (at the specified location)

20
Q

What instructions should the assisting driver be given when permissive working is in operation?

A
  • Proceed at caution
  • Meet the driver of the failed train (at the specified location)

21
Q

What do we do when the line is clear again? (TS2 Reg 7.3)

A
  • If the assisted train is to enter a signal section controlled by another signaller, you must tell that signaller the train is being assisted and how it is being assisted
  • When the line is again clear, you must signal the next train normally
