If there was only two extremes, then there is 2048 different profiles - hence, just with these 10 major philosophical issues, there would be an large diversity of psychologists out there

- Original sin = humans fundamentally bad
- Noble savage = humans fundamentally good
- Tabula rasa = blank slate

Impose strict guidelines

Provide opportunities to be good

Teach child to distinguish right from wrong
How does each of the worldviews of fundamental human traits view children
- Original sin = children are selfish, aggressive, destructive
- Noble Savage = children are good, blame society for distorting individuals
- Tabula rasa = children are neither good nor bad, if misbehave it is a failure to learn
