What does the clavicles (collarbones) do?
Acts as brace: holds scapula and arm laterally

What does the Subscapularis muscle do?
Rotates humerus medially (endorotation)
What does the Supraspinatus muscle do?
Abducts humerus
What does the Infraspinatus muscle do?
Laterally rotates and adducts humerus (exorotation)
What does the Teres Minor muscle do?
Laterally rotates and adducts humerus

Whats special about the Shoulder (Glenohumeral) Joint?
The Stability is sacrificed for greater freedom of movement
What does the bursa play in the (Glenohumeral) Joint?
It reduces friction between two body parts where there is no joint to stop the friction from happening
When do dislocations occur?
When bones are forced out of alignment

A partial dislocation of a joint (common in the spine)
