The gaze cueing effect is a psychological phenomenon that describes how people respond faster to targets that are being looked at by others
- Gaze cueing is ‘rapid’ and ‘reflexive’, many suggest automatic.
- sensitive to high level social modulations

Who is our attention cued by?
A
- Our attention is cued more by people we ‘know’ are not nice!
- But our attention is cued more by those that we consider to have a ‘higher’ status

the tendency to automatically focus on people who are looking in our direction
- Gaze leading experiments corrleated with sub-clinical self reported autism like traits.
