CO acquires information and provides an analysis on the political and socio-cultural structure of the community to better contextualize community concerns and issues.
Social Investigation
Identify, analyze, and rank and prioritize the problems and needs of the community.
• Problem identification and scoping work
• Assessment of the previous efforts/initiatives to solve the problem
Problem identification, analysis and priority setting
Formation of small group of potential leaders to assist the community organizer in CO works
Core group formation
• Translating the goals and objectives into specific activities.
• Determining specific possible solutions, needed resources and risk mitigation activities.
Planning and Strategizing
Setting up a formal and legitimate organization to collectively address community issues and challenges
