Ensure your browser is up to date with patches.
Don’t adopt the newest browser immediately. Let someone else field test it first.
Which web browser should you use?
It depends on the organization and its needs. Some browsers only exist on certain OS’s. Some corporate websites only work with one type of browser.
They are all fine as long as they are configured properly.
What are the general strategies for keeping your web browsers safe?
Implement good administrative and/or technical policies
Train your users
Use Proxy & Content Filter
Prevent Malicious Code from being loaded
ActiveX controls, Java applets, JavaScript, Flash, other active content
What are the two causes of “invalid or expired security certificate”?
The certificate itself has an issue or, the host computer has a problem.
It is common for the user computer error to be related to the wrong date/time.
