A
An exercise that uses an incident scenario to create a discussion of a simulated emergency situation and security incident.

The penetration testing team; attackers

A
The defensive team of security

What is the white team?
A
The staff administering, evaluating, and supervising the penetration test. These guys may also build a copy of your actual network so the pen testers don’t end up taking down your actual running network. These guys are like the referee’s/evaluators of pen test exercises for both teams.
