In WW1 they were hard to control and had to play by ear all the time as they didn't have technology like we had today
26
What were flame throwers like in WW1 compared to now
In WW1 they were sometimes used by Germans and later the French and the British and they weighed 2 tonnes. They are still used in military today but also used by civilians e.g.- farmers to crop fields

Gas attackers were used in WW1 to injure and kill enemies, but are no longer used, but have became deadlier
28
What was smokeless gunpowder like in WW1 compared to now
In WW1 it had allowed more lightweight and simply easier to combat, was also cheaper but not used as much today in new guns, as it would brake fragile barrels
