Q

what is ultrasound scanning used for?

A
  • producing images of internal organs such as heart or kidney as long as organ isn’t surrounded by bone

Q

how to work out distance of ultrasound?

A

s = v x t
distance (m) = speed (m/s) x time (s)

divide answer by 2 if you’re only working out one direction not the direction and reflection
