22
Q

“F PRES” caution

A

Fuel tank pressurization failure, fuel boost pump failure, or one or both ENGINE switches set to OFF.

If fuel tank pressurization is lost, two inward relief valves allow ram air to enter the tanks.

If both boost pumps fail, a bypass valve will allow the engine driven pump to draw fuel directly from the bottom of the negative G compartment.

23
Q

“HYD” caution

A

HYD system pressure low.

Illuminates when either HYD 1 or HYD 2 pressure drops below 1600 psi. Extinguishes when both HYD 1 and HYD 2 pressure is at least 2000 psi

A

Engine driven low pressure fuel pump failure/outlet pressure low or low pressure fuel filter is clogged.

Illumintates when pressure drops below 35 psi

25
Q

“M FUEL” caution

A

Manual fuel system is selected.

There is no automatic control of N1 rpm, N2 rpm, or EGT. Fuel metering is accomplished by direct movement of the throttle. Take extreme care to prevent exceeding rpm and EGT limits.
