• Catapult fires, propelling seat up guide rail. Occupants legs are restrained. Emergency oxygen and radio beacon are actuated. Rocket fires near the end of the catapult stroke. Drogue catapult fires, deploying drogue
• Drogue releases from seat. Parachute rocket fires to deploy main parachute. Harness and leg restraint lines are released
• Parachute opening separates the pilot from the seat
