-slow walk/ jog, gradually reducing intensity -stretches

Why cool down
A
Allows the body to recover after fitness. By cooling down your getting ride of lactic acid, carbon dioxide and other waste products that have built up in your body. All of this reduces chance of injury

Why warm up?
A
Raises pulse so body temperature rises. Also stretching increases the range of movement possible in the activity. So all together less chance of injury
