The level or perspective that you are using to observe a geographical phenomena.
Site
The physical characteristics of a place.
Situation
The location of a place relative to another place.
Space-Time Compression
The reduction in time it takes for something to reach another place
Spatial Perspective
Looking at how things and features are placed on the earth’s surface in order to predict patterns and processes ( naturally occurring or human-caused).
Stimulus Diffusion
When an idea spread from it’s hearth to somewhere else but hits a barrier and changes to something else by it’s new adopters.
Sustainability
The practice of using natural resources responsibly so they can support both present and future generations.
Syncretism
The making of a new cultural trait from blending two or more cultural characteristics.
Thematic Map
A map that has a theme that tells a story.
Perceptual Region
A place that people believe exists as part of their cultural identity. (it’s in the mind).
