Description of VT?
A
VT is a Tachyarrhythmia which originated in the ventricles; in most cases it is synonymous with broad complex tachycardia which has a broad QRS complex.

Recognition of VT ?
A
- QRS duration greater than 0.12 seconds or >3 small squares.
- may present with a palpable pulse but also may not.
- Ventricular rate faster than 100 beats per minute (BPM)

A
- Pale, cold, clammy skin
- hypotension
- delayed cap refill time
- dizziness
- anxiety
- chest pain
- palpitations
- shortness of breath
- sweating

A
Time critical emergency.
