Intimal thickening with luminal stenosis
Mononuclear cell infitrate into media with necrosis
Giant cell formation in the media

What are the microscopic feature of polyartheritis nodosa?
A
Fibrinoid necrosis with thickening and infiltration of vessel wall
Neutrophils, eosinophils and lymphocytes may be present
Thrombi and aneursymal change may lead to necrosis

A
Focal necrosis, crescentic formation and paucity or absence of immunoglobulin deposites
